Automating golf ball picking is a no-brainer, but what happens next? When it’s time to discharge the collected balls, finding the perfect fit for your budget and operations is key. Below, we’ve highlighted the main features of the Bridge and Ball Pit Systems to help you decide.

Once filled to capacity, the Range Picker automatically heads back to the Bridge utilizing GPS. The robot climbs the ramp and discharges the balls into the baskets below. The golf balls are transported, cleaned and returned to their distribution point by your team. Expand your Bridge to fit your range.

Working seamlessly with the Range Picker, balls are deposited directly into the low-profile ball pit without interrupting play. From there, they move through the transport system, are automatically washed, and arrive at the dispenser clean and ready for reuse—no manual handling required.

The Range Picker collects balls for 6 hours before it automatically returns to the charging station. It charges for 2 hours, then gets right back to work.
24 Hour Day Breakdown:
Run Time: 18 hours
Charge Time: 6 hours
Bridge - The Range Picker automatically drives up the ramp of The Bridge and dumps the balls through grates into crates.
Installation: Above ground
Power: No power needed for The Bridge, the charging station needs power
Ball Load: 6,000-18,000k
Time Saved: 5 labor hours
Staff Requirement: Collect the filled crates, wash balls and return them into circulation
Ball Pit - The Range Picker automatically drives over Ball Pit and discharges the balls through grates. The balls are transported to a ball washer and back to the dispenser or ball hopper.
Installation: Underground
Ball Load: More than you'll ever need!
Time Saved: 8 labor hours
Staff Requirement: None
The Range Picker is about efficiency and round the clock work, so at 3mph there is a lot less unnecessary wear and tear on the drive system and picking system than let's say the old-school vehicles used to collect balls on the golf range. The Range Picker won't be gunning it down the range at 15 MPH to see if it can shave time off it's last record.
In the rare case that a part needs to be replaced, we do keep spare parts in-house, so they can easily be shipped anywhere in the US.
OnPar Automation handles support for the Range Picker. Simply call us at:
720-800-0190 | Extension 3
We will be able to log into your robot remotely and diagnose any issues. If spare parts are needed, we can usually send them out the next business day.
